MissionDamned Good People's mission is to improve human relations among secular groups by providing a forum to share their beliefs and experiences without being judged. Damned Good People believes that the public needs to be educated on how good people have been damned throughout history, and continues today. If you have been damned by a theological society for who you are or for what you believe, Damned Good People is for you. VisionDamned Good People's vision is to create local chapters for free-thinking individuals of all nationalities, classes, races, and sexes to come together and be given the courage to share their experiences on being damned by society's religious biases. Each location will provide a place for connecting with others for morning coffee, potluck dinners, songs, games, and to listen to inspiring talks from those who may or may not agree with you. ValuesFor those who join Damned Good People, the main value is being able to celebrate this one life by engaging with others who live their life the way they are without being judged. Through these experiences, life has been given a true meaning and purpose. ObjectivesOur objective is to create a world where everyone acknowledges that their biases are man-made and must be eliminated by coming together as one human race. True Peace and Happiness can only happen when Equality = One. GoalsWe are looking for you, and others within your community, who will contribute in starting a local Damned Good People chapter. When your communal chapter becomes known to the public, others will be inspired to become sustaining members. By becoming a member, Damned Good People can maintain a 501c3 charitable foundation, where donations will remain tax-deductible. Members, who are current on their dues, may vote at the annual convention. Members receive discounts when registering for special events, and when placed on a waiting list, the level of membership will determine who has priority.
